Mount Marty Twilight Final Results
            Graduate student Mary Alderson posted first place finishes in the 200 and 400-meter dashes and sophomore Tia Jones won the shot put with an NCAA provisional mark to lead the Wayne State College women's track and field team Wednesday afternoon and evening at the Mount Marty Twilight Meet held at the Yankton High School Outdoor Track Complex.Â
           Alderson recorded times of 25.69 seconds in the 200-meter dash and 57.06 seconds in the 400-meter dash to collect first place finishes for the Wildcats.
           Jones also collected a first place finish in the shot put with an NCAA provisional mark of 47' 3 1/2" with teammate Jadin Wagner right behind in second at 45' 1/2".
           Senior Kacie O'Connor was second in the discus (150' 1") with freshman Kenzie Sullivan placing fitth at 138' 5".
           Freshman Allysa Kimpson took sixth in the 200-meter dash (26.67) and eighth in the 100-meter dash (13.13).
           Freshman Sophie Noecker came in fourth place in the 100-meter hurdles (16.61) while junior Joan Jelimo collected a fourth place finish in the 800-meter run at 2:18.17.
           Other top individual finishers were Hanna Lazure taking fifth in the high jump clearing 4' 11", Kim Lowman took ninth in the 800-meter run (2:25.56) and Molly McCartney was 10
th in the 1,500-meter run (5:13.01).
           The Wildcat 4 x 400 meter relay team of Lowman, Kimpson, Brianna Crouch and McKayla Hanson was second with a time of 4:20.00.
           Wayne State throwers Michaela Dendinger, Kacie O'Connor and Tia Jones will compete in the Drake Relays on Friday and Saturday in Des Moines, Iowa.
