Redshirt freshman thrower Mckenzie Scheil has received All-Central Region honors from USTFCCCA (U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association) for ranking in the top five in the hammer throw during the regular season.  Scheil, from Fairmont (Fillmore Central HS), ranked fourth in the hammer throw with a top regular season mark of 182' 8" at the Mount Marty Twilight Meet April 24th. 
            Scheil will compete Thursday in the hammer throw at 12:30 p.m. at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Kingsville, Texas.
