            Sophomore Mckenzie Scheil posted NCAA provisional marks in the weight throw and shot put to lead the Wayne State College women's indoor track and field teams Friday at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invite and Saturday at the Dakota Alumni Realty Meet hosted by the University of South Dakota in Vermillion.
            Scheil started her weekend taking third in the weight throw at the Husker Invite in Lincoln on Friday with a mark of 61' 1 ½".  Saturday in Vermillion, the sophomore won the weight throw at 62' 2" and later took second in the shot put with a mark of 47' ¼".  Scheil's effort in the weight throw now ranks fourth in NCAA Division II while her NCAA provisional mark in the shot put now sits 13^th in NCAA Division II.
            Junior Kenzie Sullivan had a solid day Saturday at the South Dakota Open, taking second in the weight throw (56' 7 ½") and fifth in the shot put at 45' 6 ½", an NCAA provisional mark.
            Sophomore sprinter Jordyn Pester collected a fourth place finish in the 400-meter dash (1:00.21), Ali Dykman cleared 5' 2 ½" to place eighth in the high jump with Hanna Lazure right behind in ninth at 5' ¾". 
            Sophomore Mikayla Marvin finished 10^th in the pole vault clearing 11' 2 ¼". 
            Wayne State's next meet is Friday, February 14^th at the Concordia Invite in Seward.
