SDSU Division II Invitational Final Results

            Bryce Holcomb and Cole Christoffersen had the top finishes for the Wayne State men's indoor track and field team Friday evening at the SDSU Division II Invitational held in Brookings, South Dakota at the Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex.  The meet attracted nearly 20 teams from NCAA Division II and NAIA ranks.
            Holcomb had the top running finish, taking eighth in the 1,000-meter run with a time of 2:40.51. 
            Christoffersen recorded the top field finish for the 'Cats, also posting an eighth place finish in the weight throw at 55' 9 ¼".
            Freshman Logan Moeller took ninth in the men's triple jump at 44' 3 ¼" while Braden Johnson had a 14^th place finish in the long jump with a leap of 20' 11 ¼". 
            Brock Hegarty came in 16^th in the one mile run at 4:31.28.          
            Wayne State's next meet is Friday and Saturday, January 28 and 29 at the Mark Schuck Open in Mankato, Minnesota.
