Wayne State will be on the road to face the University of Sioux Falls this Thursday followed by a Saturday NSIC South Division battle with Southwest Minnesota State. Wayne State enters the week 4-1 on the year coming off a victory against Colorado Mesa 62-59. Sioux Falls enters the contest 3-4 on the season following a victory over Flagler College 74-57. Southwest Minnesota State enters the weekend 4-2 on the year coming off a victory over Sioux Falls 72-59 at home.   Sioux Falls has won the last nine meetings against WSC dating back to the 2018-19 season.  Last year the Cougars beat WSC in Sioux Falls 76-75 and 79-67 in Wayne.  SMSU and WSC have split each of the last three seasons.  Last year the Wildcats won in Wayne in overtime 69-65 while the Mustangs prevailed in Marshall 72-50.
