AVCA Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll Release 9/19/22
The Wayne State volleyball team moved up two spots to first in this week's AVCA Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll released Monday afternoon. The 14-0 Wildcats collected 1137 points and 42 first-place votes in this week's poll after posting three wins last week – at home vs Peru State followed by 3-1 NSIC road wins at Upper Iowa and Winona State. It's the third time in program history WSC volleyball has been ranked #1 in the country – October 4 and October 25, 2010.
The Wildcats face a pair of top 10 ranked NSIC teams on the road this weekend, visiting #4 St. Cloud State Friday at 6 p.m. and #9 Minnesota Duluth Saturday at 2 p.m.
