#11 seed Wayne State posted a 3-0 victory over McKendree (Ill.) to close pool play Saturday morning at the AVCA Small College Beach Championships in Tavares, Florida.  With the win WSC is now 11-6 on the season.
            The Wildcat #5 pairing of Maggie Brahmer and Havyn Heinz cruised to a 21-10, 21-8 victory over McKendree's Kloi Karban and Brynee Luebbers. 
            In the 4's matchup it was Wayne State's Rachel Walker and Brooke Peltz edging McKendree's Brooke Junker and Megan Dierks 21-18, 21-17 while the #3 team of Isabelle Vacek and Ally Beresford registered a 21-19, 21-18 win over Jessica Hickel and Hanna Parisio of McKendree.    
            Wayne State will play a challenge match against an to be determined opponent Saturday afternoon to cap pool play at the AVCA Small College Beach Championships in Florida.
