The Wayne State football team returns to the friendly confines of Bob Cunningham Field Saturday evening as the Wildcats host Southwest Minnesota State on Family Day with a fireworks show to follow. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. Both teams, 1-1 on the season, look to rebound following losses last week to nationally ranked teams as the Wildcats fell at then #9 Minnesota State 31-14 while the Mustangs suffered a 34-14 home setback to then #11 Bemidji State. WSC holds a 25-8 lead in the all-time series and has won the last six meetings over the Mustangs, including a 20-14 win in Wayne last season.
