Several Wayne State College throwers competed Wednesday afternoon at the Maverick Open #1 held in Mankato, Minnesota.
            Junior Reilly Young placed third in the discus at 147' 10" while junior Hailey Baker came in fourth in the hammer throw with a top mark of 169' 2".
            Freshman J'Dyn Bullion competed in the men's discus and took ninth at 157' 6".
             The next meet for the Wildcats is Friday at the South Dakota Tuneup Meet in Vermillion.
