Kneifl competes in high jump at NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships

            Wayne State College senior Dylan Kneifl competed in the high jump Friday afternoon at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Emporia, Kansas.
            A graduate of Wisner-Pilger High School, Kneifl was not able to clear the opening height of 6' 8" on three attempts in prelims and finished in a tie for 16th place.
            Kneifl closed his Wildcat career as a three-time NCAA outdoor national qualifier in the event.
            Earlier this season, he matched his own school record of 7' 1/4" at the Drake Relays (4/24/24) to qualify for this year's NCAA Outdoor Championships.
            Kneifl earned All-NSIC honors three times in the high jump and was the 2023 NSIC high jump champion and ends his Wayne State career as a four-time national qualifier in the high jump (2022 outdoor, 2023 indoor and outdoor and 2024 outdoor).
