Dylan Kneifl competed in the high jump Friday afternoon at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Emporia, Kansas.
A graduate of Wisner-Pilger High School, Kneifl was not able to clear the opening height of 6' 8" on three attempts in prelims and finished in a tie for 16th place.
Kneifl closed his Wildcat career as a three-time NCAA outdoor national qualifier in the event.
Earlier this season, he matched his own school record of 7' 1/4" at the Drake Relays (4/24/24) to qualify for this year's NCAA Outdoor Championships.
Kneifl earned All-NSIC honors three times in the high jump and was the 2023 NSIC high jump champion and ends his Wayne State career as a four-time national qualifier in the high jump (2022 outdoor, 2023 indoor and outdoor and 2024 outdoor).
