For the 11^th time in the last 12 years, the Wayne State College women's cross country team was honored by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association with the All-Academic Team Award announced Thursday afternoon by the coaches' association office in New Orleans, Louisiana.  The Wildcats recorded a cumulative grade point average of 3.385 for the 2024 fall semester.  WSC was one of six teams from the Northern Sun Conference to earn the award.
            To qualify for the All-Academic Award, teams must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale and compile a team score at their respective regional championship meet.
