Wayne State College football head coach Logan Masters announced the signing of 42 student-athletes today as part of National Signing Day. 38 high school and four transfer athletes having signed their letter of intent and will continue their academic and athletic careers at Wayne State College. WSC signed 25 athletes from Nebraska and nine from Iowa. Other states include South Dakota, Texas, North Dakota, Wisconsin, and Florida.
            "We are very excited to announce our 2025 recruiting class. I am very proud of the work out staff did great identifying student athletes that fit Wayne State College and building relationships with these young men. Also, I would like to thank the WSC administration, admissions, and professors for investing in the future of our program."
            Masters also added, "We needed to add depth at the defensive line and wide receiver's positions. We feel like we did that in this class as well as bringing in guys that can come in and create competition with our current roster. We are very excited and looking forward to getting these guys here for fall camp."

Spent last three years at Northern State and will have two seasons of eligibility at Wayne State…saw action in eight games during 2024 season recording one catch…played in five games during 2023 season with one reception and one kick return.

Transfers to WSC after spending two years at the University of Mary and will have three seasons of eligibility with the Wildcats…played in nine games during 2024 season and had one blocked kick and one reception for 14 yards vs. Augustana…appeared in one game during 2023 season.

Was a two-year starter and three-year letterwinner for the Bucks on the offensive line…as a senior was named to the South Dakota Football Coaches Association Class 11AA All-State Team helping Yankton to an 8-3 record and the state semifinals…also named All-ESD Conference Team.
Mason Sanden – Offensive Line 6-3, 270 Omaha / Central HS
Three-year starter and letterwinner in football for the Eagles…also competed in powerlifting and track and field…earned Nebraska Elite 33 Class A All-State Honorable Mention during senior season helping team to 6-4 record and Class A playoffs…placed second individually at State Powerlifting Championships while helping team to state title.

Played on four Class C2 state playoff teams for the trojans including State Runner-up as a sophomore…had 40 catches for 390 yards and a combined 87 catches for 991 yards and eight TD's the last two seasons…was a two time All-District selection and named Class C2 All-State team as a senior…voted team captain the last two years and Most Valuable Player…in basketball earned All-Mid States Conference Honors and was a state track qualifier as a sophomore.
