Erica Lee was the top Wayne State finisher leading the Wildcats to a fifth-place team finish at the Jewel Women's Invitational hosted by Winona State and played at The Jewel Golf Course in Lake City, Minnesota. The 'Cats fired rounds of 309 and 313 for a two-day, 36-hole total of 622.
Arkansas-Fort Smith edged Minnesota State 592-594 for the team title with Winona State third at 607. Concordia-St. Paul came in fourth at 612 with Wayne State next with a 622 for fifth.
Other team scores were Minnesota Crookston at 629, Sioux Falls 632, Upper Iowa eighth at 649 and Jamestown in ninth at 654. Minot State (677), Bemidji State (685) and MSU Moorhead (701) rounded out team scoring in the 12-team event.
Lee, a junior from Millard North HS, carded rounds of 73 and 79 on the par-71 layout to finish in a tie for 10
th overall at 152. Sophomore
Gaia Stancikova was next in a tie for 15
th with scores of 79 and 75 for 154.
Grand Island junior
Hailey Kenkel posted rounds of 77-78 for 155 to tie for 18
th overall. Senior
Saffire Sayre was next at 163 shooting scores of 80 and 83 to tie for 35
th.

nd and sophomore
Camryn Johnson (86-84 170) in a tie for 47
th out of a field of 72 players.
