At the plate, Borngrebe started 25 games as designated player and posted a .308 batting average with six home runs and 33 RBI.  She posted 11 multi-hit games and was second on the team with 12 games of multiple runs batted in.  Borngrebe had a season-high four RBI that included a three-run homer in a 9-0 win over Augustana April 7th and was 3 for 5 in a 2-1 10-inning win over Emporia State February 21st
Wayne State finished the 2026 season with records of 42-14 overall and 21-9 in the NSIC to finish in third place.  The 42 wins by the Wildcats were the second-most in program history and just the third time ever the team won 40 games in a season.
