For the third straight week, the Wayne State volleyball team stayed second in the latest AVCA/TARAFLEX Division II Volleyball Coaches Poll released Monday afternoon. The Wildcats received one first-place vote and 1,112 points in voting conducted by various Division II coaches across the nation following three wins last week that included Saturday's reverse sweep over #5 Concordia-St. Paul and a Friday 3-0 sweep vs. Winona State.
Wayne State, 12-1 overall and 4-0 in the NSIC, plays two matches this week, visiting Augustana in Sioux Falls Thursday at 6 p.m. followed by a Saturday afternoon 1 p.m. home contest vs. the University of Sioux Falls.
