The Wayne State volleyball team remained second in the latest AVCA/TARAFLEX Division II Volleyball Coaches Poll released Monday afternoon. The 7-1 Wildcats received three first-place votes and 1073 points in voting conducted by various Division II coaches across the nation following a third-place finish and 3-1 record at the Colorado Premier Challenge.
Wayne State opens Northern Sun Conference play on the road this weekend visiting Minnesota State Friday at 6 p.m. and #8 St. Cloud State Saturday in a 2 p.m. contest.
