Wayne State College opens spring football drills on Wednesday, April 7th with practices being held on the practice fields located north of Wayne State College Recreation Center.  15 workouts will be held during spring drills culminating with a spring scrimmage on Friday, April 30th.  Practices are scheduled for Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

The Wildcats are coming off an 8-3 record in 2009, going 7-3 in the NSIC to finish in a tie for third place overall.  Wayne State College is an NCAA Division II school that competes in the 14-team Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.  Wayne State is scheduled to open the 2010 season on Saturday, August 28th at Nebraska-Kearney with kickoff slated for 6:00 p.m.
