Alex Francis Classic Final Results

Cade Kalkowski and
Dylan Kaup each hit NCAA provisional marks in the hammer throw to highlight the Wayne State College men's performance Thursday at the Alex Francis Track and Field Classic hosted by Fort Hays State in Kansas.
           Kalkowski earned a second place finish at 187' 10" in the hammer throw with Kaup right behind in third at 183' 2", both NCAA provisional marks. Kaup also posted an eighth place finish in the discus at 145' 10".
           Matthew Nemec captured fourth place in the hammer throw at 166' 2" while
Jayle Hinkle posted a fourth place mark in the shot put (48' 11 ¾").Â
Richard Sweeney came in fifth place in the hammer throw (163' 3").
           Senior
Clay Kramper notched a third place finish in the 100-meter dash in 10.83 seconds while sophomore
Preston Davis came in fourth place in the 110-meter hurdles in 15. 40 seconds to go with a fifth place mark in the javelin at 163' 9".Â
           In the long jump,
Robert Sullivan came in sixth place at 22' 1 ½" with
Mikhail Sands next in seventh at 21' 11 ½" while
Aaron English placed sixth in the high jump clearing 5' 10 ¾".Â

Alvyns Alcenord took fifth in the 100-meter dash (10.96) with
Justin Rohloff ninth at 11.25 seconds.Â
           Wayne State's next meet is Friday and Saturday, April 5
th and 6
th at the Concordia Invitational in Seward.
