The Wayne State College beach volleyball team capped their Arizona Spring Trip Wednesday afternoon with a 4-1 victory over Arizona Christian at Scottsdale Ranch Park in Scottsdale, Arizona.  WSC is now 3-1 on the year while Arizona Christian is now 1-5-1.
            The opening match went three sets as Wayne State's #1 team of Hope Carter and Taya Beller won 21-15, 23-25, 15-10.
            The Wildcats also scored wins in the #2 and #3 matches for a 3-0 lead as the #2 team of Alyssa Ballenger and Maddie Duffy won 21-17, 21-12 and the duo of Kelsie Cada and Jordan McCormick won the #3 match 21-8, 21-11.
            Arizona Christian picked up its lone win of the match at #4 outlasting Wayne State's Elly Larson and Jacee Weber 21-18 and 22-20.
            WSC closed the match with a sweep in the #5 match as Jessie Brandl and Isabelle Vacek won easily 21-8, 21-8.
