Cade Kalkowski, Dylan Kaup and Cole Christoffersen finished second, third and fourth in the hammer throw to lead a handful of Wildcat men that competed Friday and Saturday at the Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa.
            Kalkowski posted a mark of 199' 3" to take second in the hammer throw followed by Kaup in third at 197' 10" and Christoffersen fourth with a throw of 185' 8".
            Other Wildcat entries at the Drake Relays saw Ben Allen take sixth place in the shot put (51' 9 ¾"), Preston Davis was ninth in the javelin throw at 160' 5" and Collin Kotz finished 13^th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 9:41.95.
            Wayne State's next meet is Saturday, May 1 hosting the Wildcat Challenge at LeRoy Simpson Track in Wayne.
