Final Results Mark Schuck Minnesota State Open
            McKenzie Scheil took second in the shot put with an NCAA provisional mark and added a fifth place mark in the weight throw for the Wayne State women's indoor track and field team Friday and Saturday at the Mark Schuck Open held at Minnesota State in Mankato, Minnesota.
           Scheil, a graduate student from Fairmont, had a second place finish in the shot put with an NCAA provisional mark of 46' 10 ¾" and added a fifth place mark in the weight throw at 58' 8 ¾".
           Junior
Brooklynn Chipps (Clearwater HS) recorded a pair of sixth place finishes in the shot put (42' 5 ½") and weight throw (57' 10 ½") while Ponca freshman
Brooke Languis came in 10th in the shot put at 40' 11 ½".
           Rosener collected an eighth place finish in the 1,000-meter run at 3:14.31 while
Keyla Sambo had a ninth place mark in the triple jump at 36' ¼".Â
           Wayne State's distance medley relay team of
Allie Rosener,
Marin Jetensky,
Kelsey Larsen and
Alison Stineman finished sixth at 13:21.83 while the 4 x 400 meter relay team of
Sarah Cotton,
Maya Couch,
Emily Erickson and
Kevona Brown placed ninth with a time of 4:16.74.
           Wayne State will compete in a pair of meets next weekend – the Husker Invite in Lincoln Friday and Saturday and the USD Alumni Meet in Vermillion at the Dakota Dome Saturday.
