Final Results Nebraska Women's Intercollegiate Invite
            The Wayne State College women's golf team posted four of the top five individual scores on their way to capturing the team title at the Nebraska Intercollegiate Invitational played Friday and Saturday at the Norfolk Country Club.
The Wildcats shot rounds of 323 and 330 for a two-day, 36-hole total of 653 to finish well ahead of runner up Nebraska Kearney at 700 (353-347).
           Concordia University placed third at 722 followed by Hastings College (726), College of St. Mary (731) and Doane with a 839.Â
           Individually, sophomore
Abbigail Brodersen and junior
Jazmine Taylor led a balanced Wildcat effort, placing in a tie for second overall out of a field of 33 players each shooting scores of 161. Brodersen recorded rounds of 78 and 83 while Taylor shot 81-80.
           Right behind in fourth place was junior
Abbey Kurmel at 163 (77-86) while freshman
Saffire Sayre tied for fifth at 168 with rounds of 87 and 81.
           Individually, junior
Viktoria Bortkiewicz-Hamelin tied for eighth at 171 (85-86) while junior
Tricia Hemann was 21st overall with a 183 (95-88).
           Wayne State will compete on Saturday and Sunday at the Augustana Fall Preview in Larchwood, Iowa.
