Wayne State College track and field will be hosting five camps during January and February at the WSC Recreation Center Indoor Track and Field facility. Registration for all camps can be found online at –

Pole vault camps will be held on Sunday, January 15 and Sunday, February 26 from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. The camp is open for pole vaulters grades 7-12. Instructors will include Terry Beair from Wayne High School, Terry Glenn of Norfolk Catholic High School and Johnnie Ostermeier from Crofton. Cost is $30 for the session and enrollment is limited to 24 athletes.
A sprint camp will also be held on Sunday, January 15 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. for athletes in grades 9-12. Instructors include Wildcat assistant coaches Travis Kamm and
Preston Davis. Cost is $30 and enrollment is limited to 16 athletes.
Wayne State track and field will host a camp for athletes in grades 9-12 on Sunday, February 12 that will cover sprints, hurdles, long jump, triple jump, high jump, shot put, discus and mid-distance/distance running. The camp is designed to teach proper technique and drill work, practice proper mechanics and give assistance in a workout environment from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. Instructors will be Wayne State track and field coaches with assistance from Wildcat track and field athletes. Cost is $50 if pre-registered by February 6 and $75 after February 6. All campers will also receive a WSC camp t-shirt.
The final camp is a hurdle camp on Sunday, February 26 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. for athletes in grades 9-12. Instructors will be Wayne State coaches Travis Kamm and
Preston Davis. Cost is $30 and is limited to 16 athletes.
