SDSU Last Chance Invite Final Results

Bryce Holcomb and sophomore
Dylan Kneifl took first place in the 600-meter run and high jump to lead the Wayne State men's track and field team Saturday as the Wildcats competed at the South Dakota State Last Chance Invite at the Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex in Brookings, South Dakota.
           Kneifl, a sophomore from Wisner-Pilger HS, cleared 6'6 ¾" to take first place in the high jump while Holcomb, a graduate of Lincoln Pius X HS, crossed the tape first in the 600-meter run at 1:21.74.

Brock Hegarty collected a second place finish in the one mile run at 4:24.95 while teammate
Brandon Mundorf placed fourth in 4:27.29.
           Pierce freshman
Logan Moeller recorded a third place finish in the long jump at 22' ¾" with Braden Johnson placing sixth with a jump of 21' 2" in the same event.

Daniel Elge recorded a throw of 47' 10 ½" in the shot put to take seventh place while
Bennett Lorenz also took seventh place in the wight throw with a throw of 49' 4 1/2" while freshman
Theo Huber also placed seventh in the 60-meter dash finals in 7.34 seconds.
           The Wildcats will compete Friday and Saturday (Feb. 26-27) at the NSIC Indoor Track and Field Championships in Mankato, Minnesota.
