Final Results Ottawa Volleyball Beach Tournament 3/16/22

            Wayne State capped a unbeaten day at the Ottawa Volleyball Beach Tournament in Kansas Wednesday afternoon with a 3-2 victory over the host Braves.  The Wildcats go 4-0 on the day and improve to 11-3 on the season while Ottawa is now 4-7.
            The Wildcats posted wins in the #2, #3 and #4 pairings to take down host Ottawa.  Kelsie Cada/Jordan McCormick had a battle in the 2's match before prevailing 21-19 in both sets.  Jessie Brandl/Isabelle Vacek breezed to a 21-10, 21-6 win in the #3 pairing while Jazlin DeHaan and Rachel Walker won 21-14, 21-6 in the 4's match.
            The #1 pairing of Taya Beller and Lauren Jacobsen lost 2-0 while the 5's duo of Brooke Peltz and Maggie Brahmer fell in three sets. 
            Wayne State is scheduled to host their first-ever home beach volleyball match next Wednesday afternoon, March 23rd, hosting Ottawa (Kansas) at 1 p.m. in Wayne.
