USD Early Bird Invite Final Results
Dylan Kneifl had the top Wayne State finish with a third place finish in the high jump to lead the Wildcat men competing at the South Dakota Early Bird Invite held at the Lillibridge Track Complex in Vermillion, South Dakota.
A sophomore from Wisner-Pilger High School, Kneifl cleared 6' 7 ¼" to place third in strong field of 23 jumpers from NCAA Division I, II, NAIA and junior colleges

Cole Christoffersen took fifth in the hammer throw amongst a field of 60 throwers with a mark of 180' ¾".
Freshman
Logan Moeller collected a seventh place finish in the long jump with a leap of 23' 3 ½" and also recorded a seventh place finish in the triple jump at 45' 1 ¾".
Freshman
Alex Brandt had an eighth place finish in the javelin with a top throw of 150' 9 ½".
Top finishers in running events included
Bryce Holcomb taking ninth in the 800-meter run (1:56.05) followed by
Nathan Pearson 12th in 1:56.38. In the 1,500-meter run,
Brandon Mundorf was 14th at 4:09.00.
Wayne State will compete again on Friday and Saturday, April 8 and 9, at the Sioux City Relays.
