South Dakota Twilight Final Results
            Freshman
Alex Brandt took third in the javelin and graduate student
Cole Christoffersen was fifth in the hammer throw to lead the Wayne State College men's outdoor track and field team Friday afternoon and evening at the South Dakota Twilight Meet held in Vermillion, South Dakota.
           Brandt tossed a season-best mark of 162' 9 ½" in the javelin to place third and was 10th in the 110 meter hurdles finals in 15.92 seconds.Â
           Christoffersen collected a fifth place finish in the hammer throw with a mark of 199' 2 ¼".Â
           In the long jump, freshman
Logan Moeller was eighth with a leap of 22' 9 ¾" followed by
Cody Rogers in ninth at 22' 3 ½" and Braden Johnson 10th (21' 10 ¼").
          Â
Brandon Mundorf took eighth in the 800-meter run in a time of 1:56.06,
Will McGonigal was 10th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at 10:37.92 and
Daniel Elge took 10th in the shot put (47' 3 ½").
           The Wildcat 4 x 100 meter relay team of
Jediah Davis,
Theo Huber,
Wyatt Nissen and
Jacob Ladage posted a time of 42.64 seconds to finish fourth.
           The next meet for Wayne State is the Northern Sun Conference Track and Field Championships next Thursday, Friday and Saturday (May 12-14) in Aberdeen, South Dakota.
