Wayne State College blanked Evangel University (Mo.) 5-0 Wednesday afternoon to open play at the Ottawa (Kan.) Beach Volleyball Tournament at Shawnee Mission Beach in Shawnee, Kansas.  The Wildcats are now 7-3 on the year while the Valor drop to 0-2.
            Wayne State's #1 team of Taya Beller and Allie Petry posted a 21-7, 21-8 win while the remaining matches were Wildcat victories by default.
            Wayne State is scheduled to face NAIA 10^th-ranked Missouri Baptist and host Ottawa (Kan.) in other matches Wednesday afternoon at the Ottawa (Kan.) Beach Volleyball Tournament.
