NAIA #1 ranked Ottawa University of Arizona handed Wayne State's beach volleyball team a 5-0 setback Wednesday afternoon at the Arizona Regional Volleyball Facility in Mesa, Arizona.  The host Spirit improved to 10-3 with the win while Wayne State fell to 5-2 on the season following the loss.
            All five matches saw the Wildcats fall by scores of 2-0. 
            Individual match scores were not available.
            The exhibition match featuring Wayne State freshmen Laney Kathol and Gracen Evans also saw the Wildcats fall by a 2-0 score.
            Wayne State will conclude their Arizona spring trip Thursday facing NAIA 3^rd-ranked Arizona Christian University at 11 a.m. Central Time in Glendale, Arizona.
