Wayne State defeated Park Gilbert University of Arizona 3-2 Monday afternoon in a beach volleyball contest played at Arizona Athletic Grounds in Mesa, Arizona.  The Wildcats are now 6-2 on the year with the Buccaneers dropping to 0-6 on the season. 
             All three Wayne State wins were sweeps while the two matches the Wildcats lost both went three sets.
            Wildcat wins were recorded by Chloe Hanel and Channatee Robles in the 2s pairing 21-11, 21-6.  Reese Johnson and Ella Myler at the #4 duo won 21-15, 21-5 and in the 5s match Rhianna Wilhelm and Brooke Peltz rolled to a 21-9, 21-6 win.
            The Wildcat #1 pairing of Taylor Bunjer and Ava Spies fell in three sets by scores of 21-16, 19-21, 10-15 and the 3s duo of Brooklyn Kusler and Molly Romano suffered a 19-21, 21-10, 8-15 loss.
            Wayne State another match against Park Gilbert Monday afternoon in Mesa, Arizona.
