Abbigail Brodersen of Wayne State College was selected as the Northern Sun Conference Women's Golfer of the Week Wednesday afternoon following her performance over the weekend at the Vegas Warrior Invitational played in Henderson, Nevada.  It's the second straight week this spring a Wildcat golfer has earned NSIC Golfer of the Week honors after Saffire Sayre received the honor last week.
A senior from Albion (Boone Central HS), Brodersen placed second at the Vegas Warrior Invite last Friday and Saturday shooting rounds of two-over par 72 and five-over 75 for a 147.  She helped Wayne State win their second tournament this season and also led a Wildcat team that tied for the second-lowest team score to par in school history at +44 (604) for a 36-hole event.
It was the second time this season Brodersen finished runner-up at a tournament and now has fired six rounds in the 70's this season for the Wildcats.
Wayne State continues their spring season March 31 and April 1st at the NSIC Preview played in Smithville, Missouri at Paradise Point Golf Club.
