NAIA #4-ranked Arizona Christian edged Wayne State College 3-2 Saturday afternoon in a beach volleyball match played at Victory Lane Sports Complex in Glendale, Arizona.  The Firestorm is now 7-4 overall while WSC sits at 3-2.
            Three of the five matches went all three sets between the two clubs.
            Wildcat wins came from 3s pairing Molly Romano and Brooklyn Kusler, rallying for a 14-21, 21-19, 15-12 win over Arizona Christian's Emee Fellens and Abigail Nelson.  The other WSC win also came in three sets as the #4 team of Reese Johnson and Ella Myler outlasted Emily Katzer and Jaiden Zeis from Arizona Christian 21-17, 12-21 and 15-11.
            The #5 pairing of Rhianna Wilhelm and Brooke Peltz suffered a three-set loss by scores of 21-18, 19-21 and 15-12.  Other results saw #1 duo Taylor Bunjer and Ava Spies fall 21-12 and 21-15 while the Wildcat 2s pairing of Chloe Hanel and Channatee Robles fell 21-19, 21-16. 
            Wayne State will play two matches again Sunday in Arizona facing Mesa Community College at 10 a.m. and noon at Gene Autry Park in Mesa, Arizona.
