The Wayne State College beach volleyball team won seven of eight matches in posting a 4-1 win Sunday afternoon over Mesa Community College at Gene Autry Park in Mesa, Arizona.  The Wildcats are now 4-2 on the year while the Thunderbirds drop to 8-6.
            Scores of individual matches were not available early Sunday evening. 
            Pairings that posted wins included Chloe Hanel and Channatee Robles, Molly Romano and Brooklyn Kusler, Reese Johnson and Ella Myler and Brooke Peltz and Rhianna Wilhelm.
            In exhibition matches, WSC won all three contests in sweeps record by the pairings of Anna Borner and Laney Kathol, Jolee Ryan and Kaelyn Andersen and Gracen Evans and Bella Hedke.
            Wayne State plays another match Sunday afternoon against Mesa Community College at Gene Autry Park in Mesa, Arizona.
