The Wayne State College women's golf team moved up three spots to 17
th in this week's NCAA Division II Central Region Rankings released Friday afternoon by the NCAA office. Two other teams from the NSIC are ranked as Augustana stayed 10
th in this week's poll while Minnesota State is listed 18
th.
Eighteen (18) teams from the Central Region, along with six individuals on non-qualifying teams, will advance to the NCAA Division II Central Regional hosted by Central Oklahoma May 5-7 at Kickingbird Golf Course in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Wayne State will be in action Monday and Tuesday hosting the annual Wildcat Classic at the Wayne Country Club with 12 teams competing.
