Emmanuel Badejo has earned All-Central Region honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. To qualify for the honor, an individual must place in the top five of his respective event in addition to each of the members of a top-3 ranked relay team.
Badejo, from Ijebu Ode, Nigeria, was tied for the third-fastest time in the Central Region this spring with a season-best and school record time of 46.39 seconds in the 400-meter dash at the USD Tune-Up Meet in Vermillion May 3rd.
Badejo will compete in the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships this Thursday (May 22) in the 400-meter dash at 6:55 p.m. Central Time in Pueblo, Colorado.
