Reagan Murphy and
Olivia Schwarzrock earned event wins Friday afternoon to lead the Wayne State women's indoor track and field team at the SDSU Last Chance Invite held at the Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex in Brookings, South Dakota.
           Murphy's winning time in the 60-meter hurdles finals was 8.90 seconds while freshman teammate
Breylee Botts took third in 9.11 seconds.
           Schwarzrock led four Wildcat finishers in the weight throw winning the event with a top throw of 55' 8 ½".Â
Taylor Arp was fourth at 53' 1 ½", McKinley Grove sixth (50' 6 ¾") and
Torrance Tso seventh at 50' 1 ¾".
           Grover also had a third-place finish in shot put (40' 7") with
Olivia Lyon sixth at 36' 9 ½".
           Second-place finishers were
Jozlyn Barnes in the 600-meter run (1:42.72) and
Madeline Kunz was second in the 3,000-meter run at 11:53.19.
           In the 200-meter dash freshman
Carly Busch came in third at 26.15 seconds followed by
Alyssa Folds in fourth (26.20) and
Alaina Nelson fifth in 26.62 seconds.

Anna Coffee was fourth in the high jump with a top mark of 4' 11 ¾".
           In the 800-meter run, freshman
Kyla Krusemark was seventh in a time of 2:20.44 and sophomore
Kaitlyn Bloomenrader was right behind in eighth at 2:21.96.
           Wayne State competes in the Northern Sun Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships Friday and Saturday in Mankato, Minnesota.   Â
