Box Score             Kennadi Borngrebe's 13 strikeouts in this evening Maryville contest is a new career best for the redshirt sophomore. Borngrebe and the 'Cats blanked the Saints, 4-0. WSC improves their record to 11-1 on the season.
            The two squads went scoreless through the first three innings. Borngrebe struck out the side in the opening inning and would add another later in the third.
            Wayne State got on the board with all four of their runs coming in the fourth inning. After two ground outs, Haylee Weber, Jordyn Rochholz, and Jordyn Klein would all single, loading the bases.
            Leah Chance followed up the trio of singles with a double to center field and all three runners scored to give WSC the 3-0 lead. Emilee Marth kept her hot streak going as she singled to right and earned another RBI as Chance scored Wayne State's fourth run of the contest.
            Borngrebe would earn all three outs in the seventh inning. She struck out the first wo before hitting a batter and walking the next. She would strike out the final out of the game swinging.
            Chance and Marth led the offense, each recording two hits. Borngrebe is now 6-0 on the season starting in the circle for WSC.
 
            Wayne State will be back in action tomorrow morning taking on Upper Iowa at 10 a.m. and again in the afternoon at 2:30 p.m. when the 'Cats take on #9 Missouri Southern.
