The Wayne State College beach volleyball team closed their Arizona spring break trip Tuesday morning with a 5-0 sweep over the Park Gilbert Buccaneers at the Arizona Athletic Grounds in Mesa, Arizona.  The 'Cats are now 7-3 on the year with the win while the host Buccaneers drop to 3-11.
            The first Wildcat win came from the 2's pairing of Channatee Robles and Chloe Hanel by a 21-11, 21-11 victory.  Mia Berg and Ella Myler collected a 2-0 win (21-16, 21-17) in their match at the 4s pairing. 
            The #1 duo of Taylor Bunjer and Anna Borner registered a 2-0 sweep 21-14, 21-19 in their match with the 3's team of Mattie Kamery and Reese Johnson winning 21-18, 21-14.  The 5s pairing of Delaney Miller and Jolee Ryan needed three sets before finishing with a 18-21, 21-14, 15-2 win to complete the sweep.
            Wayne State's Kaelyn Andersen and Boe Kaschner also won by a 2-0 score with set scores not available. 
            Wayne State returns to action next Wednesday (March 25^th) when the 'Cats travel to Ottawa, Kansas and face Ottawa (Kan.) and Park (Mo.) in a triangular at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
