Wayne State junior high jumper Cain Brown was announced late Tuesday afternoon as a national qualifier for the NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships that will be held in Virginia Beach, Virginia March 13 and 14.
            Brown, a junior from Williamsburg, Iowa (Mid-Prairie HS) and a transfer from Iowa Western Community College, is tied for 14^th in NCAA Division after clearing a season-best 6' 11 ½" at the Concordia Invite February 14^th.  The mark tied the WSC indoor school record held by Dylan Kneifl in the 2023 season (2/18/23).
            Brown is one of 18 national qualifiers and will compete in the high jump on Saturday, March 14^th at 3:30 p.m. Central Time.
