Wayne State College recorded a 5-0 sweep over Ottawa University of Kansas Monday afternoon to open a beach volleyball doubleheader at the WSC Campus Courts.
All five matches along with the exhibition contest ended in Wildcat sweeps. Wayne State's #1 pairing of
Anna Borner and
Taylor Bunjer picked up a 21-13, 21-15 win followed by a 21-13, 21-8 victory for the 2's duo of
Channatee Robles and
Chloe Hanel.
In the #3 pairing
Reese Johnson and
Mattie Kamery posted a 21-9, 21-11 victory. The 4s duo of
Ella Myler and
Molly Romano cruised to a 21-7, 21-7 win and in the 5s match it was
Mia Berg and
Delaney Miller picking up a 21-12, 21-16 win.
The exhibition contest saw JoLee Ryan and
Kaelyn Andersen win 21-12, 21-8.
