Wayne State College freshman hurdler Braylon Chism was named Northern Sun Conference Men's Track Athlete of the Week Monday afternoon following his performance over the weekend at the Emporia State Midwest Classic.
            Chism, a graduate of Bellevue West High School, posted a third-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles in a time of 55.04 seconds that now ranks second in the NSIC this season.  Chism hit the highest criteria for NSIC Player of the Week honors in competition last week. 
            Wayne State will compete this week at a pair of meets starting Wednesday in Vermillion at the South Dakota Snooze Button Invite and on Friday and Saturday at the Sioux City Relays.
