Wayne State College senior thrower Olivia Schwarzrock was named Northern Sun Conference Women's Field Athlete of the Week Monday afternoon following her performance over the weekend at the Emporia State Midwest Classic.
            A graduate of Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop High School in Minnesota, Schwarzrock posted a second-place mark of 44' ¾" in the shot put to place second at the meet and now ranks as the #2 throw in the shot put this season.  She also had a ninth-place finish in the hammer throw at 153' 10" and is ranked ninth in the NSIC in the hammer throw.
            Wayne State will compete this week at a pair of meets starting Wednesday in Vermillion at the South Dakota Snooze Button Invite and on Friday and Saturday at the Sioux City Relays.
