Senior thrower
Olivia Schwarzrock won the shot put at the Tim Marshall Invite in Mankato, Minnesota while
Breylee Botts and
Taylor Arp had second place finishes for the Wildcats at the South Dakota Challenge Saturday in Vermillion.
           Schwarzrock posted a winning throw of 44' 10 ¼" in shot put in Mankato to move up to third in the NSIC this season.Â
Jalecia Williams had a fourth-place finish in the event at 41' 11 ½".
           In the discus, sophomore
McKinley Grover was second (151' 2") with
Torrance Tso fourth at 148' 11" and in the hammer throw
Taylor Arp was third (169' 6") and Williams finished fifth at 163' 9".
           At the South Dakota Challenge Friday, Arp was second in the hammer throw at 167' 0", Grover third (158' 11") and
Olivia Lyon sixth at 139' 8".Â
           In the 5,000-meter run, senior
Maelee Beacom had a personal-best time of 20:35.60 to place sixth with teammate
Madeline Kunz right behind in seventh at 20:35.72.Â
           Saturday at the South Dakota Challenge, freshman
Breylee Botts was second in the 100-meter hurdles in 14.22 seconds while senior
Anna Coffee was third in the high jump clearing 5' 3 ¼" to go with a fifth-place mark in the javelin throw at 115' 1".Â
           Senior
Lindsey Kneifl was fifth in the triple jump (35' 10 ½") and seventh in the long jump at 17' 9" while
Jerika Bakenhus had a fifth-place showing in the high jump clearing 5' 1 ¼".Â
           The 4 x 100-meter relay team of
Alaina Nelson,
Alyssa Folds,
Carly Busch and
Reagan Murphy finished in fourth place in 48.17 seconds.Â
           The Wildcats travel to Duluth, Minnesota next weekend for the Northern Sun Conference Outdoor Championships Friday and Saturday.Â
