Mount Marty Twilight Invite Final Results
Dylan Kneifl picked up a first-place finish in the high jump Wednesday afternoon to lead the Wayne State men's track and field team at the Mount Marty Twilight Invitational held in Yankton, South Dakota.
Kneifl cleared 6' 8 ¾" to record the winning jump.
Second place finishes came from
Braden Johnson in the long jump (22' 11 1'4"),
Brandon Mundorf in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:57.14 and
Titus Kiptoo in the 5,000-meter run at 15:46.70.
Quentin Dreyer collected a fourth-place finish in the 800-meter run at 1:58.96 with Gabe Peitz right behind in fifth with a time of 1:59.41.
Freshman
Mitchell Rudie placed fifth in the 400-meter dash in 50.90 seconds with
Alex Leuenberger eighth (51.38).
Freshman
Keaton Wattier took fifth in the 110-meter hurdles at 15.12 seconds,
Abe Schroeder was fifth in the 5,000-meter run in 16:18.56,
Alex Brandt was seventh in the javelin at 152' 4 ¾" and
Brandon Mitzel came in eighth place in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at 10:31.23.
Wayne State will have several athletes competing Friday and Saturday at the Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa.
