The Wayne State College men's cross country team finished seventh out of 11 teams Saturday morning at the Dordt Invitational held in Sioux Center, Iowa. Junior
Quentin Dreyer was the top Wildcat runner taking 16
th overall out of a field of 182 runners with a time of 25:43.5.
Dordt won the team title with 34 points followed by Doane in second at 56. Concordia (Neb.) was third with 83 points with Bellevue (115) and Benedictine (Kan.) at 121 rounding out the top five teams. Northwestern (Iowa) finished ahead of Wayne State 174-188 for sixth place with Dakota State eighth (226), Minnesota Crookston ninth 9227) and Southwest Minnesota State 10
th at 308 points.
Dreyer was the top Wildcat runner covering the 8,000-meter course in a time of 25:43.5. Freshman
Ethan Walters followed in 27
th place at 26:11.5 with junior
Brody Lucas the next Wildcat to cross the finish line in 41
st overall at 26:30.3. Rounding out the top five Wildcat runners were
