Lucas Frazier was the top Wayne State finisher for the Wildcat men's cross country team Saturday afternoon at the NCAA Central Region Cross Country Championships at Tom Rutledge Cross Country Course in Joplin, Missouri. The Wildcats finished 26
th place overall with a team score of 714 points.
Northwest Missouri State captured the team title with 72 points with Washburn second at 104 and East Central (Okla.) third with 116. Pittsburg State was fourth with 118 points and Augustana fifth at 127 with 30 teams competing.
Frazier, a freshman from Beatrice, was the first Wildcat runner to cross the finish line on the 10,000-meter course with a time of 33:40.26 to place 116
th overall out of 206 runners. Senior
Brody Lucas was right behind in 122
nd place in a time of 33:53.27.

Brady Franzen was next in 150
