Olivia Schwarzrock,
Hailey Baker and
Reilly Young each posted event wins for the Wayne State women's track and field team Friday afternoon and evening at the Concordia Invite held at Bulldog Stadium in Seward.
           Schwarzrock posted a first-place mark in the shot put at 41' 10 ½" with Baker taking second at 40' 6" and Makenna Markle fourth at 39' 11 ½".Â
           Baker had a first-place finish in the hammer throw with a top mark of 172' 6" followed by Schwarzrock in third at 156' 0", Young fourth at 151' 8" and Markle sixth (143' 7").
           Young won the discus with a top throw of 147' 6" with freshman
Brooklyn Kruse sixth at 130' 5" and Schwarzrock eighth at 124' 2".

Maya Couch had a third-place finish in the 100-meter dash at 12.25 seconds,
Anna Coffee came in third in the 100-meter hurdles (14.76) and freshman
Callie Kirchner was third in the 800-meter run at 2:22.52.
           Fourth-place finishes came from
Faith Polacek in the 800-meter run (2:27.29) and
Kylie Pachta in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:52.90.

Lindsey Kneifl was fifth in the long jump at 17' 7 ½",
Taylor Thorp took sixth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at 14:07.46,
Keyla Sambo placed seventh in the triple jump (34' 2 ¾") and Kirchner took eighth in the 1,500-meter run in a time of 5:04.41.
           Wayne State will compete next Friday at the Sioux City Relays.Â
