Wildcats Win Nebraska Intercollegiate, Kenkel Finishes First

                Four Wildcats finished in the top five at the Nebraska Intercollegiate this afternoon in Freemont, Neb. Hailey Kenkel and Gaia Stancikova played two extra holes in a playoff for first with Kenkel earning the individual title. The pair each carded a 153. WSC as a team shot a team total of 622 for the two days, 313 in round one and 309 in round two.
                Junior Hailey Kenkel was the next top finisher for the 'Cats with an 82 in round one and a 71 in round two. Stancikova shot a 78 and 75 in the two-day event.
                Sophomore Camryn Johnson finished in fourth place as she shot rounds of 78 and 81 for a 159. Saffire Sayre rounded out the top five as the fifth-place finisher as she carded 77 and 83.
                Junior Erica Lee tied for sixth place with a two-round score of 162, just two strokes out of a top five placement.
                Wayne State earned first out of the seven-team field, defeating the second-place team, Doane University, by 32 strokes.
                This is Wayne States first team win of the season since the Wildcat Classic last spring in Wayne, Neb.
                The Wildcats will be back on the links October 13th and 14th when they travel to Larchwood, Iowa for the Sioux Falls Invite.
