Quentin Dreyer was the top finisher for the WSC men's indoor track and field team this evening, placing first in the one mile. The Wildcats competed in Mankato, Minnesota at the Mark Schuk Open. This meet saw 29 teams competing, seven of them being other NSIC foes and several other NCAA schools. Dreyer finished his race with a time of 4:22.43.
Emmanuel Badejo showed off his speed in his first collegiate meet for the Wildcats with his second-place finish in the 400m, crossing the line with a time of 49.93.
Senior
Daniel Elge was the 'Cats third top finisher, placing third in the weight throw with a toss of 17.59m.
Freshman sprinter
Mitchell Hupp placed fifth both the 60m and 200m. the Stanton High School product finished with times of 6.92 and 22.08 in his races. Hupp earned eight team points.
Mitchell Rudie's time of 1:09.91 was fast enough to land in fifth place in the 500m race.
Sophomore Elliot Nottlemann cleared 1.93m in the high jump, earning fifth place.
