Allie Czapla was the top Wildcat finisher Saturday morning for the Wayne State women's cross country team at the Dordt Holiday Inn Express Classic held in Sioux Center, Iowa. The Wildcats finished 17
th in the team standings with a team score of 454 points.
Minnesota State captured the team title with 28 points followed by host Dordt in second place at 59 points. South Dakota State (76), Augustana (101) and Benedictine (Kan.) with 190 points rounded out the top five team scores.
Czapla was the first Wildcat runner to cross the finish line on the 6,000-meter course with a time of 23:25.90 to place 85
th out of 150 runners. Junior
Callie Kirchner was next for WSC in 93
rd place at 23:41.93 with
Sydney Escritt taking 114
th with a time of 24:19.21.

Kyla Krusemark took 126
th in 24:52.47 followed by
Madeline Kunz at 127
